  JULY / AUGUST 2009 in ENGLAND
  With a lot of help and advice from our "Specially appointed UK Polo Advisor", Paul Cheung, both Kuppa and Polo Escape
  mounted teams to play in England with Kuppa entering for the second time the 12 goal Dubai Trophy and Polo Escape
  entering the Royal Berkshire Polo Festival 4-8 goal.

  Team patron Robin with England captain, Luke Tomlinson ( 7 ) Lucas di Paola ( 6 ) and young talent
  William Batchelor ( -1 ) again entered this years Dubai Trophy, the qualifying rounds were all played at Dubai's
  immaculate grounds with the finals being held at Ham Polo Club in Richmond. The Kuppa team did exceptionally
  well making it to the finals against the Shalimar team under patron Kasem Shafi ( 0 ), Tomas Gavina ( 2 ) Vieri Antinori ( 5 )
  Hissam Ali Hyder ( 4 ) with Shalimar winning the day, scores were 6 1/2 to 5.

  RBPC Polo Festival
   
  Joining up with new friend, English patron, Georgina Brittain ( 0 ) Robin and the Polo Escape team with Jock Mackay ( 4 )
  / Federico Von Potobsky ( 4 ), Martin Fiol ( 4 ) had great fun playing the Royal Berkshire Polo Festival.
  A lot of experience was gain in battling the strong english teams, all are looking forward to being back next year for more.

ADAMAS EXHIBITION MATCH
   
   
 
The Adamas Trophy, 2009 was played last weekend, with a international group of visiting professionals from Australia, Argentina, India and Malaysia. This Exhibition match kindly sponsored by Paul Chueng was the first ever all professional match held in Thailand. Spectators were full of praise for level of skill and horsemanship shown on the field. The organizers hope to stage this one day event again next year as the pre-runner to next seasons Adamas Trophy 2010.

Thailand wins at the 66th FIP Ambassadors Cup Sydney, Australia
   
 
The Ambassadors Cup was created by the Fedration of Internation Polo 20 years ago to develop International polo friendships between all the members of the National Associations. The week long event was held at Millamolong Polo Club and Folly Lodge where the special Aussie hospitality was shared in abundance to the 6 participating teams from Australia, America, Canada, Iran, Mongolia and Thailand.

The First Leg of the Thailand Polo League
   
   
 
Match 1 of the Thailand Polo League was played at Polo Escape with 5 teams competing over the 3 day event.
This year saw new entries form Aron's Harilela the Next Level team and Shuif Hussain's Stapleford Park team.
Unfortunately Black Dog were delayed in assembling their team but will be able to join the 2nd leg of the league
to be held at SPP field on March 6th -8th.

By the end of the 3 day event, Herilela after 3 games had 7 points, Polo Escape played 2 games with 6 points,
VR and King Power both played 2 games were on 4 points and Stapleford after 3 games had 3 points.

After 3 days of fast paced action packed polo, the Kuppa team came through victorious. Chef Dan who came for

SO THE TEAMS CAME OVER TO CHECK OUT THE HORSES AND FIND TUNE THEIR TEAM. UNDER CRYSTAL CLEAR SKY'S

Polo Escape welcomed in 2009 with the New Year cup. Visitors came from far and wide, old friend Jamie Miranda finally
getting back into the saddle and John Wong from Singapore could not resist Tom Claytor's persuasive powers and came
out of retirement to join the Black Dogs, playing under the SPP banner. Camille also making her debut to the Thailand polo
scene giving us a preview of the exciting polo we can expect for next months International Ladies. We also welcome back
to Polo Escape another of our professionals Jose Von Potobsky who arrived from Norway that morning, so we gave him jet-lag

Adamas and Polo Escape joined hands on a field trip to our Polo neighbours SPP when they organized The Chirstmas Cup.
Four teams entered for this 2 day fun event. Playing well we managed to beat the SPP home team to go into the finals,
but the team from VRSC just proved to strong, so we had to be content with second place, maybe next year we'll do better!

Satinder captain of the Singapore Polo Club wanted to fine tune his new machines from Argentina and Kuo Lee
one of the most respected patrons also from Singapore was visiting with his family for a little relaxation before the New Year
celebrations back home so Marco our very accommodating GM organized a impromptu 6 goal 3 day event for them.

The Polo Escape Team battled hard to capture the trouphy with the special MVP prize for top scorer in the tournament
going to Susy of Polo Escape. As is tradition all visitors enjoyed the famous Asado on the Saturday night with Thomas Ristic
entralling every one with stories of his arrival through our new "National" airport U-Tapao, which is jus 15 minutes from Polo Escape.

The 2 day event saw Adamas and Polo Escape battle it out with Adamas scoring the winning goal in the final moments of the match. Lucas Talamoni had spectators transfixed displaying some of the most graceful polo maneuvers.
